Clarins Cleansing Milk and Toning Lotion

Since I’m not 21 anymore, I feel I must come to terms with the fact that I haven’t everlasting youth – therefore start as you mean to go on.

After trying and testing various products promoting countless benefits for the skin, I have settled with the Clarins range. The alcohol-free anti-aging ingredients which are contained within the products promote the perfect moisture balance needed for the under 30’s and over.

As I have combination skin (many might think that this is better than having oily or dry skin – I beg to differ) I feel that the Clarins skincare range has really catered for my beauty needs combatting an oily t-zone and dry areas dotted around the face.

The gentle ingredients contained within the cleanser and toner (flower extracts such as Gentian and sage etc) ensure that the individual applying the product can notice the results instantly. As soon as I apply the cleanser and toner to my face, I immediately notice the radiance that the products give my skin and the taut sensation when the toner is applied. The products give a 'clean' feeling to the skin aswell as helping to tone and tighten pores.
You can buy your products here; http://www.clarins.co.uk/

Below I have given a brief description of how I apply the products and in what order, even though this works for me, it may not work for you, it’s on a trial and error basis until you find what suits you best.

Cleanser and toner regime

Apply the cleansing milk with a cotton pad in a ‘pumping’ motion, this ensures that the product is distributed evenly and absorbed across the whole of the face.

Then taking a thin tissue, gently press across the face to remove any excess product.

Finally, taking another cotton pad apply the toner in a gentle sweeping motion over the entire face.

I'm off to a party..

This look was created for a client attending a party last year. I created a bespoken look to compliment the outfit and was left to my own devices, the look I decided on was classic and vintage to tie in the lace detail on the clients dress. This included classic red lips, sultry smokey eyes and toned down dewy make up.
For the hair, I created a bouffant at the front of the face to create the illusion of height, the back was put up in a barrel curl design. This surprised my client as her hair was fine and short in length, which shows I can work with any length of hair.

Hi all and welcome to my page.

I am a 20-something year old beauty addict, who is excited about starting up this blog! Please bear with me whilst I get used to the ins and outs of blogging. Over the past few years I've graduated with a BA Business Management, got married, bought a house and had a gorgeous baby boy - life is sweet, so to say.

Between the hectic time of getting married and having a baby, I trained with the reputable Ash Kumar Academy and completed my 'Hair and Beauty' course - which has been life changing for me, after which I then trained with the commendable Arman Milind and completed my 'Bridal Hair and Make up' course.

With all this in hand, I now feel fully equipped to style Women for special occasions, be it a wedding, party, or just a very special occasion. Being in the surrounding areas of Birmingham I feel my sophisticated style stands out above the rest as I can create a bespoke look for any individual, complimenting different skin tones.

I'm a lover of high end beauty products and the following brands are included in my kit: MAC, Illamasqua, Bobbi Brown, Inglot, Urban Decay, Kryolan, Benefit .. to name a few. I believe using these products ensure a classic and vintage finish and benefits the client with a better coverage and longer lasting make up.

I love creating various hairstyles to compliment the desired look... as a make up artist, I believe that not only does the hair and make up need to compliment each other it also needs to compliment the outfit, so the overall look has the biggest possible impact without any particular element taking the limelight.

Have fun looking through my pictures, product lists will be provided with my pictures and all constructive feedback is welcome.
